Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs, as well older classical songs. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. She started singing and studying songs with her mother and commenced more serious vocal training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. As a student and as a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. Following her move into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. She has been involved with a number of local projects in both teaching as well as a performer due to her love of music and art. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
