Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") She is a Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. Since she was a teenager, she's been involved with the edges of traditional and popular music. In addition, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Her voice is said by no less talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like older versions. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning an Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. This set was released the month of March 2022, following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the very first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
