Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actress. His career began with performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex in 2000. In 2005, after appearing in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007) He was known for his role as Marvel Comics hero the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was able to become one of the highest paid actors around the globe thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
